Airush introduces the Widebody concept with the Sector 60. At nearly 4 inches (10cm) wider than other production kiteboard, the light-wind advantages of the Sector are clear. Innovations in the fin configuration and hull design create an easy to use, yet high performance freerace board, that simply outperform traditional light-wind boards through significant steps forward in upwind recreational performance. The obvious increase in width enables the Sector to get going earlier, and continue planning in absolutely minimal wind conditions. Developed to be used in conjunction with kites such as the Airush Lithium LW (Light Wind) 13 & 15m, the combined innovation enables you to ride the relatively smaller sizes than traditional light wind kites from around the 7 knot threshold.

The Sector 52 is based on the ideology of a high performance Freerace directional, with high wind performance for heavier riders, or a dedicated light wind board for light weight riders. The Sector 52 also offers a more maneuverable option to its big brother the Sector 60. Innovations in the fin configuration and hull design create an easy to use, yet high performance freerace board, that combine competitive upwind performance with controllable off the wind performance.

RAILS
Hard edges in the tail for perfect water release and early planning. Tucked edges in the front section for control at speed.

ROCKER
Flat rocker in the tail section for early planning. High nose kick for control off the wind.

BOTTOM SHAPE
Single concave nose for early planning, with V tail section for control and a smooth ride in chop.

OUTLINE
Wide tail for early planning and edging upwind. Wide point relatively far forward for control at high speed.

FINS
Sector 60 Quad fin configuration with a 22 cm front fin set and 18cm rear fin set. Fins feature a 9 deg cant to maintain optimum grip when edging with reduced area tips assisting control when riding off the wind. Sector 52 Quad fin configuration with a 18 cm front fin set and 15cm rear fin set. Fins feature a 9 deg cant to maintain optimum grip when edging with reduced area tips assisting control when riding off the wind.

CONSTRUCTION

FLYTECH
The Flytech construction is most suitable for high volume kiteboards due to its low core density. The lightweight core is used in conjunction with directionally optimized glass for optimum flex and durability in conjunction with a high density foam sandwich. This ensures the boards remains as light as possible and still survive aggressive riding.
