 DCS (Direct Contact Sole)The revolutionary DCS
System gives a direct contact feel with the board while maintaining the
durability and protection of a traditional boot or shoe. Due to advances
in rubber technology we have been able to reduce the thickness of our
complete sole by 5mm when compared to a traditional sole. In many cases
our sole is half the thickness of traditional boots, this translates into
twice as much feel. Together with our Torsion Sole Concept the increase in
board control when using our boots or shoes is incredible.
Glued and BlindstitchedMonoblockOCL-Orthopedic Controlled LastPro limit has redeveloped
the very fundamentals of boots & shoes. All existing boots & shoes
are developed around a 3D last (a foot shaped mold). The last determines
the shape and comfort of the boot. Whatever you do with a boot and shoe,
the last maintains the shape of the final product. All the lasts currently
used by other manufacturers for boots and shoes are based on diving and
fishing boot standards. These lasts have a completely flat sole, straight
ankle position, are too wide in the middle section and too wide in the
heel.
The new Pro-Limit lasts
features a slanted (backwards leaning) ankle position, an orthopedic sole
design, and a snap on heel fit. The difference is a combination of changes
in every area of the foot and the result is unbelievable.
