When it comes to combining high-performance with a smooth ride, a natural wood core is simply unbeatable. The XCaliber Wood has the same shape as the carbon version, but feels completely different, especially in less than perfect water conditions (read: far from buttery lagoons). The wood construction optimally dampens choppy conditions and feels softer on the water. The XCal Wood is great for edging even in rough conditions. Better edging leads to better pop - and as we know, pop is key in freestyle.
