RRD Passion Y25 2020
The new PASSION Y25 inspires also in its new version not only every freeride lover, but also Big Air and Wave Kitern. By opening the wingtips and adding a pulley near the leading edge, the maneuverability and stability of the kite has been increased. The resulting improved overall performance increases the overall wind range and allows for the incredible power delivery and tremendous stability. The wide tips cause a direct conversion of control commands and fast turning behavior. By opening the wingtips and the higher flight speed, unique lift and hangtime performances can now be called up more easily and offer even freestylers the possibility to jump faster kite loops. Due to the light bar forces and the better flight stability, the kite is not only recommended for demanding freeriders, but is also ideally suited for foil kiters. Especially in the sizes 13.5, 15 and 17 could be optimized for light wind by reducing the weight and adjusting the front tube diameter. Thus, the performance in planing and upwind could be increased even further without deteriorating the outstanding relaunch property.
