Efficiency without compromise! Our Downwinder has been completely redesigned and comes in three slim and lightweight shapes that allow you to easily get on the foil and fly for miles!

One of the first boards, from the board forge of the Spencer brothers Finn and Jeffrey. After joining Team Duotone, the new downwinder shape design was their first project. The result is sporty, fast and narrow designs with efficient glide that accelerate to the smallest bump with just a few strokes of the paddle. For 2024, there are four models - from 6'4" x 19" and 6'10" x 20" to the mid-sized 7'2" x 21" and the stable and lightweight 7'8" x 22.5", in 85, 95, 115 and 135 l sizes.

With a low rocker, stretched outline and clean bottom contours, the boards are incredibly easy to get up to launch speed. Once in motion, the slim pin tails with pronounced rail facets on the larger models easily push into the water to pump up the board and foil for take-off. The rounded rails in the nose area are less prone to canting and steering the board in unwanted directions. This makes the take-off and touchdowns forgiving and neutral, so you can fully concentrate on the bumps instead of your board.

The sensational glide characteristics and fast acceleration also make the Downwinder a real weapon for wing foiling in light winds!

Due to the lightweight 100% carbon construction, these boards are correspondingly sensitive, but since the weight of the board is crucial for the paddling performance, we have deliberately chosen this uncompromising technology.
