The Naish Alaia is a tribute to the original Hawaiian surfboard , the Alaia. These traditional boards originated over a thousand years ago and are considered to be the very first surfboards. Naish combines centuries-old tradition with modern design and high-quality materials in this model: the combination of lightweight paulownia wood and African redwood ensures a perfect balance of performance and aesthetics.

With its low weight, thin edges (rails) and lack of rocker (bend) , the Alaia is particularly suitable for light wind conditions. It glides effortlessly in the lightest wind, cuts efficiently upwind and takes you across the water with style and ease.
