The evolution of the downwind board concept.
Based on the experience of the downwind boards introduced in 2023, the evolution of these boards is faster, more refined and even more stable per size for riders from beginner to advanced. Like the previous generation, these boards are extremely versatile and are great for light wind winging and SUP surf foiling.
In the quest for more efficiency and ease of use in the paddle pop-up, each size has been lengthened by 3.5-5% to improve paddling speed and increase stability. The foil rails are now also further forward to increase maneuverability and buoyancy. Combined with subtle refinements to the rocker line and the overall shape of the tail, these boards lift off the water exceptionally cleanly and easily.
Inspired by the new deck grip design of our Wing FG foil boards, the Downwind and Downwind Performance boards feature a completely redesigned grip specifically tailored to provide riders with maximum control, comfort and versatility downwind. In conjunction with the flatter deck shape, this grip features raised center bars over the foil rails and raised blocks in each corner of the pad, front and back, for intuitive foot positioning.

- Split Forebody: Inspired by our Wing FG boards, the split forebody sheds water with ease.
- Refined bow: Improved paddle efficiency and touchdown recovery as well as reduced swing weight when pumping and carving.
- Minimized deck recess: A flatter deck for more volume and faster drainage of standing water.
- New Deck Grip: As with our Wing FG boards, raised deck grip arch bars and front/rear corner blocks provide intuitive foot positioning cues.
- Diamond V-Tail: Completely new tail shape with significantly more rocker and an additional edge to improve take-off performance and minimize tail touchdowns when pumping and carving.
- Placement of the foil track: moved further forward for more lift and maneuverability.
- Carbon rails: Proprietary carbon fiber rails are incorporated directly into the stringer fibers for a fully integrated construction.
- Proven construction: I-Beam double stringers running from deck to floor for maximum structural rigidity and durability.
