The Feather boards were developed with one simple goal in mind: to make them as easy and fun to use as possible. To achieve this goal, we have concentrated on having only the absolute minimum necessary on the board, i.e. the boards are as short as possible, but have as much volume as possible. You get the float for slow starts and at the same time have a minimum swing weight when riding for easy turns.
A carefully tuned rocker in the smaller sizes makes for forgiving touchdowns and easier paddling
New this year, we've made the Feather longer and narrower to make it easier to ride and more forgiving, while keeping it stable on the water. This shape makes them easy to glide through the water and the increased rocker makes them more forgiving on touchdowns and easier to ride in choppy conditions.
The boards are extremely stable. The sizes 20L - 102L are made with a high-density XPS core. Sizes 118L and 138L are made with a lighter, strong EPS core.
We have rebalanced the foil position so that you are now more centered on the board. This way you hardly feel the extra length we've added and have minimal swing weight.
