The story of Ride Engine began with a passionate water sports enthusiast from California. Coleman Buckley, a creative spirit with a deep love for the ocean, decided to return to Santa Cruz in 2010 after studying biology at Stanford University to redesign his path - and, of course, to enjoy surfing. In his small workshop, he began to develop kitesurf harnesses, as the models available on the market did not meet his expectations. Together with friends and experienced surfers, he created the first prototypes of hard-shell harnesses, which changed the kitesurfing world forever thanks to their revolutionary design.
